About the Event
Born June 25, 1995, in Turlock, California, Brett Cumberland is a switch-hitting catcher who starred at the University of California, Berkeley—earning Pac‑12 Player of the Year honors in 2016 after hitting .344 with 16 home runs and 51 RBI . Drafted 76th overall by the Atlanta Braves in 2016, he quickly moved through the minors, earning All-Star recognition in both the South Atlantic and Florida State Leagues in 2017–18 . Since then, Cumberland has continued his professional journey with the Orioles and the Giants organizations.
Known for his strong bat, game-calling skills, and defensive presence behind the plate, Brett brings big-league insight to every clinic. As a seasoned pro and former Pac-12 standout, he’s ready to help players up their game.
